Thought I would introduce you to Amy Henderson, and she is our son Andy's very special friend. They are both in the Residence program at Ventura County Medical Center in California...Amy is a lovely girl and we are so enjoying getting to know her!

What a Weekend!!!!

What a weekend we had! What a great time to be alive and be part of what God is doing in thispart of the world! Missions Fest NW was amazing....and here are some pictures to show forit...Pat and I ran the Conference Book Table and we had a ball!! We worked with a SUPERCREW, and we are so blessed to have to many friends.....The Sessions and workshops were great....and yes, I got my book signed also! (See Tab's blog for more information on this GRAND weekend).

A Tribute

On Saturday, January 14, our GrandPa Fred Thurman passed away. He would have had his 85th Birthday in another week or so. This pictures was taken a few year ago when all three "Thurman Boys" were together. We are thankful for having known this gentle, kind man...
By the way, it is still raining....

Another reminder! I keep dreaming.

Rain and Rain

Tonight it is really wet out there...and the debate goes on....what do folks like the best.... the cold or the rain (definitely not both at the same time)...and the general census here in Oregon seems to be...they like the rain. But this month we have had a little too much...and pumps are presently the most popular item bought at Home Depot. Well, yesterday we saw the sun (a tiny little bit)...and it was WONDERFUL!! Can't wait for spring... personally, I don't like the rain or the cold...I'm dreaming of a white sandbeach.... doesn't that look wonderful????
