Getting Ready

Well, we have pretty much decided that this is the place where we will update you all on our trip...that is...when we have access to the internet and such. So, to make it a little bit ready for travel, we have temporarily disbanded a few features on this blog. Remember, it has to be readable for ALL people...so if you will bear with me....we are cleaning off a number of things to the right...just for the time being....

Otherwise, our house is in the packing mode....which means that the dining room table is getting full of stuff that eventually will be going into suitcases....and speaking of suitcases, we got some brand new luggage yesterday. The old cases had served.....and served well. To the point of coming apart...well, that happens if you put a number of long overseas trips together....so hopefully these new babies will serve us well as the old ones did....

Travel Plans

Lord willing, we will soon be "on the road" again....well, not really the road, but take to the skies. We are going on another visit to some of our people. This time we will visit with folks who are not only connected to us and our body here....but are really GREAT FRIENDS....Enoch and his family and Zack and his little family in Central Asia!! We are so looking forward to this....to spend time with some of our favorite people....what can be better.

A Thought

Read something today...well it was in Swedish, but I kind of did my own "free translation"...and here it is: "Respect is built on how I see the other person....trust is my respect in action and kindness is the environment in which I do this..." I thought this was a good thought to ponder on this Palm Sunday weekend....
