Update #9 Tuesday Update from Germany

One thing that seems to be the same here in Germany are the church bells just outside the window....this time it is a German Lutheran church chiming on the hour and every hour and even every quarter. We are in the home of John and Shelly Gilmore....our dear friends from way back. They live in Kandern in the Black Forest in southern Germany. So good to see them after all this time. We all went for an outing today seeing some cute little villages inside the French border. We have had such a good time and such great talks....love being with our friends and seeing and hearing about their lives here.
Before we left Slovenia we attended the Sunday evening Easter service. Great service, great fellowship, great communion with believers....God is good and there is so much happening in that country. Monday we left to come here...but before we left we got to see the the MOUNTAINS in all their glory...snow covered and beautiful. We missed our scheduled flight ....they had forgotten to inform us that they had changed the departure time....but we got booked on a later flight and got to Germany just a little bit later than we had planned....then we drove on the autobahn south to Kandern ...and because of a detour and lot's of road work it took a little later than we had planned. But we got to Kandern....and here we are. The bad part is  that we leave tomorrow to drive again.
