Thoughts on a Saturday

Saturday afternoon.....it is officially spring in this corner of the woods....BUT one was led to wonder as we have seen snow flakes three days in a row now...yes, snowflakes. Poor little daffodiles as they peak out of that white stuff. No, snow belongs to the winter...and daffodiles to the spring. Interesting week to say the least.

Today we went to a Memorial service for a dear lady in our church who just passed away from cancer. Quite unusual to see the church so full for a Memorial service. But this lady was dearly loved and will be missed by many. And there was a strong testimony to the incredible life she had lived.

I guess it is not so much about how and when you die, but how you have lived!! That is the real challenge to all of us....does my life count for the Lord?? Does He live in and through me to such an extent that my life is impacting those around me?

Rakel,
Our Sudan team got off the ground and thanks to your help we have a prayer team in place as well. Would you consider posting a comment on my blog about your experiences in Sudan and/or when you sent Pat and Andraus? This is a first for Harvest and your thoughts would be encouraging for those who have sent their loved ones. Thanks!
