Our kids have a blog....look to the right and you will see The Thurman Family updates. Good reading!!
Wednesday morning....another sunny December Day in Ventura...it is sure pretty here and this town is delightful. It has been an eventful week....our dear Amy has been having some rough days....and it was first last night that she was finally starting to feel better....although not out of the woods quite yet. We keep praying. On Monday we got a good glimpse of our little grandson and on Tuesday we were able to see him again in his little "home away from home". He had some cool shades on to protect him from some of the lights they have to shine on him some parts of the day. It is good to just hang out here....do things around the house, run errands, fix, keep up on work related things, communication and other things that needs to be done...and then visit our kids every day...the ladies at the reception know us by now and of course everyone knows our kids...this is where they work, and they are truly beloved by many here at Ventura Country Medical Center. We are so thankful to the Lord that she did not get sick in some other part of the country....she has the best of care here...from collegues and friends. Last night we moved housing. We stayed with some friends of our kids for a couple of nights...now we are with another family...and we are amazed how kind everyone is and how caring. We are blessed. Also, we know there is a lot going on at home...and we pray and wish in some parts that we were there...at the same time, we are so thankful that we are able to be here at this time.

Wow, what a miracle that everyone is doing ok...I just caught up on your kids blog. God's love and care never ceases to amaze me. Praying for continued recovery and healing:) Also praying for Good Shepherd.
I'm so glad to read both baby and Mom are doing better. I was just praying that GSCC would send something out with an update. I've been praying and will continue to do so. Congrats to all of you on your new addition.
